Michael graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing from Missouri State University. He co-founded The 5 Minute Major Podcast STL, LLC and is the executive producer of all media content. In August 2025, Michael created and launched stlhockeynews.com, expanding media outreach and providing viewers of all age groups a one-stop shop for hockey content. His lifelong dream is to write about hockey and loves being able to pursue that dream through stlhockeynews.com.

Josh Koch
Co-Founder, Registered Nurse, Director of Marketing, Content Writer
Josh graduated from Golfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2020. As a Registered Nurse for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, he provides extensive care to those in need and continues to make a difference in the St. Louis community. Josh co-founded The 5 Minute Major Podcast STL, LLC where he is the Director of Marketing. Mike Meyer

Mike has been a St. Louis Blues fan for as long as he can remember, shaped by a childhood spent with games on the TV and radio. This was a passion passed down by his late father, whose love of the sport filled their home and carried the family through a few memorable years of season tickets. That lifelong connection to the game eventually found an outlet in writing, with work appearing at The Hockey Writers and The Hockey News before joining STL Sports Central. Mike launched Blue Notes Rising, his Substack dedicated to Blues prospect and development coverage. Today, he covers the Blues with a focus on sharp analysis and accessible storytelling, bringing the same devotion to the page that first took root in a living room in St. Louis.
